Welcome to Denkam Water Solutions. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our water supply services and billing management system. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
Denkam Water Solutions provides water supply services to residential and commercial customers in the Ikiru community, Kiambu County. Our services include:
- Water distribution and supply
- Meter reading and billing
- Online account management
- Customer support services
2. Customer Obligations
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when registering for service
- Pay all bills by the due date specified
- Allow authorized personnel access to your meter for readings
- Report any leaks, meter damage, or irregularities promptly
- Use water responsibly and in accordance with local regulations
- Not tamper with, bypass, or damage water meters or infrastructure
3. Billing and Payment
- Bills are generated monthly based on meter readings
- Payment is due within 15 days of bill generation
- Late payments may incur penalty charges as per our rate schedule
- Disputed bills must be reported within 14 days of receipt
- Non-payment may result in service disconnection
4. Service Interruptions
We strive to provide uninterrupted water supply. However, service may be interrupted due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (advance notice will be provided)
- Emergency repairs
- Natural disasters or force majeure events
- Non-payment of bills
5. Disconnection and Reconnection
- Service may be disconnected for non-payment after due notice
- Reconnection requires payment of outstanding balance plus reconnection fee
- Illegal reconnection is prohibited and may result in legal action
6. Limitation of Liability
Denkam Water Solutions shall not be liable for:
- Damages resulting from service interruptions beyond our control
- Water quality issues caused by customer's internal plumbing
- Indirect or consequential damages
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through:
- Direct negotiation with our customer service team
- Mediation if direct negotiation fails
- Arbitration or legal proceedings as a last resort
8. Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through our official channels and will take effect 30 days after notification.
